Gelatin capsules are compatible with a wide range of standard formulations. But not every ingredient is an ideal match.

⚠️ Formulation Limitations
- Hygroscopic ingredients: Moisture-sensitive powders and highly soluble salts can draw water from gelatin and embrittle the shell.
- Aqueous Solutions: Water-based liquids can soften and weaken the capsule shell.
- Aldehyde Compounds: Certain aldehydes may react with gelatin, forming a barrier around the shell that affects capsule dissolution.
- Extreme pH Drugs: Highly acidic or alkaline ingredients outside the recommended pH range of 2.5 to 7.5 may weaken the capsule shell.
