Wet Granulator for Capsule and Tablet Manufacturing
The wet granulator is also called a wet granulation machine. It plays a key role in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production. The granulation equipment converts powders into uniform and compressible granules with a liquid binder. Granules feature consistent size and density, ideal for tablet compression or capsule filling. When materials are difficult to process, like poor flow or compressibility, this method is useful to improve these features for smooth processing.
Different granulators support various wet granulation methods. Some use mesh and rollers to complete the granulating. The production capacity could be up to 300 kg/h with 12 mesh. Some are equipped with mixing and cutting blades. The granulating batch could be within 7-10 minutes.
